Lambda at the XI National Congress on Archaeometry
Lambda joined the XI AIAR Conference in Napoli, 28-30 July 2021, and presented the last results in pigments characterization and 3D archaeological fruition. During the conference Professor Marco Martini was nominated honorary member of AIAR (Associazione Italiana di Archeometria), together with Professor Giovanni Gigante and Professor Ferruccio Petrucci
Lambda registered in the IAEA XRF Facility Database
Lambda is now registered in the International Atomic Energy Agency XRF Facility Database. This year it will take part in the worldwide Proficiency Test for Nuclear and Related Analytical Techniques Laboratories PTNATIAEA19.The test involves distributing to participating laboratories a “clay sample” and a “plant sample” with established homogeneity and composition. A new study on the “Quarto Stato” painting by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, exposed in Milan at the Museo del Novecento is the subject of the book “Nel Quarto Stato. Indagine interdisciplinare sull’opera di Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo” (Nomosis Editore), edited by Rita Capurro, Anna Galli (Lambda Laboratory) and Gregorio Taccola.
