Inauguration of the installation “Meeting with Quarto Stato. Travel Notes from BIPAC”
On Monday, November 11, 2024, at the U6-Agora building of the University of Milan-Bicocca, the inauguration of the installation ‘Meeting with The Fourth Estate. Notes from the BIPAC Journey’ took place. The event was attended by the University’s Rector, Giovanna Iannantuoni. The exhibit visually presents the results of the imaging and characterization campaign on Pellizza da Volpedo’s masterpiece, conducted as part of the POR FESR 2014–2020 / Innovation and Competitiveness
Lambda at the XI National Congress on Archaeometry
Lambda joined the XI AIAR Conference in Napoli, 28-30 July 2021, and presented the last results in pigments characterization and 3D archaeological fruition. During the conference Professor Marco Martini was nominated honorary member of AIAR (Associazione Italiana di Archeometria), together with Professor Giovanni Gigante and Professor Ferruccio Petrucci
Lambda registered in the IAEA XRF Facility Database
Lambda is now registered in the International Atomic Energy Agency XRF Facility Database. This year it will take part in the worldwide Proficiency Test for Nuclear and Related Analytical Techniques Laboratories PTNATIAEA19.The test involves distributing to participating laboratories a “clay sample” and a “plant sample” with established homogeneity and composition.
